Reason - the code behind a text published using Wordpress editor may contain not printable characters that can harm or can create mess.
How you can fix an article previously created on old website.
Very short: create a new article, bring content and images from previous one and delete that one.
Steps to follow:
- Login into your account, the account used to create and publish that article.
- Click on Profile icon (top right) and then go to Go to My articles and public details
- You will have a list of all your articles
- All previous articles can only be viewed content - clearly marked you cannot edit the content. If you cannot see in list click on [Filters] button and make sure all are set to "All"
- Edit the article you wish to change. Copy its content and save its images locally.
- Create a new article and paste its saved content and adjust as you wish, add images if applicable and publish.
- Delete previous article.
Above scenario is the single time when you can change publish date (re-publish an article).
